...almost a year in fact, since I posted anything on my 'running blog', which testifies very potently to the fact that I haven't been running much - at all in fact! Until now, well until recently anyway.
Needless to say with the London Marathon just around the corner the temptation to lace up again is proving too enticing to resist. So knees-willing, legs-willing I've tentatively marked out a 2M circuit to test the water. Having eased in with 14.07 and 14.04, tonight felt good, perhaps too good as the watch stopped at 12.07.
Bouyed by the lighter evening (courtesy of British Summer Time!) it felt great to have a good workout but I'll wait to see how I'm feeling in the morning before getting too excited! This may yet turn out to be a once-only post!
Yesterday afternoon I ran 3M in 20.10 and felt fine.
Today I'm not so sure!
The dull ache in my left thigh is slightly less dull, depressingly less dull. But we'll see how tomorrow feels before I lurch head-long into a pit of depression?!
